Les Pêcheries de la Côte de Jade

This series is a mainly long exposure exploration of les pêcheries, the distinctive fishing huts and platforms perched on stilts along the Côte de Jade in western France. These timeworn structures, with their skeletal frames and large square nets, seem to hover between sea and sky, resilience and fragility. This series invites contemplation of both human ingenuity and the ever-changing coastal landscape that shapes, and is shaped by, these humble yet iconic forms.
